We Reached For Stars

We reached for stars together;

We laughed through autumn rain;

We walked through snowy evenings;

And heard love’s sweet refrain;

We sat in warmest sunshine –

Our dreams alive again.

 

We reached for stars together;

We rode the wind so far and free,

So high above the clouds;
